Netivot HaTorah a dynamic Modern Orthodox day school, is looking for Educators and staff to join our dedicated team of faculty and administrators to guide, support and inspire students, teachers and parents. Our well-rounded, rigorous, dual curriculum program serves over 600 students in Pre-Nursery through Grade 8, delivering an outstanding Jewish and General studies education. 

Netivot is looking for candidate(s) who are passionate about education, love working with children, are prepared to model and promote spiritual, academic, and social/emotional growth.  You must be a team player, a great communicator, and ready to make a difference. The Teacher will report to the Principal, and be responsible for supporting the diverse learning needs of the Netivot student community.

The successful candidate for the position of General Studies Teacher will:

  • Embrace the mission, vision and community of Netivot HaTorah;
  • Guide, observe and assist classroom teachers with instructional techniques and practices that will improve learning for all students, and specifically those with learning disabilities and other exceptionalities; 
  • Create lessons and curricula tailored to meet a range of student interests and plan further action based on related proficiencies. 

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education with teacher college certification or equivalent
  • OCT qualification
  • Familiarity with current technology and assessment methods 
  • Knowledge of current thought and practice in child development

The assistant will report to the Gan Director. 

Successful candidates, who will collaborate with teachers and administrators, will have the following qualifications:

  • A degree or qualification in ECE or education (OCT) or studying towards RECE is required
  • Proficiency in play based and inquiry based learning (for early childhood)
  • Interest in participating in a mentor-mentee relationship, facilitated by the school
  • Knowledge of current thought and practice in child development
  • All those applying should also be organized, warm, patient, flexible, motivated, willing to learn and open to feedback.

The successful candidate for the position of Phys. Ed. Teacher will:

Netivot HaTorah seeks a Phys. Ed. Teacher with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education with teacher college certification or equivalent

  • OCT qualified

  • Intermediate certification an asset

  • Familiarity with the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum

  • Familiarity with current technology and assessment methods

  • Knowledge of current thought and practice in child development

  • Is a responsive, articulate, and adept communicator, while also being an effective listener;
