The Benarroch Family

We caught up with the Rachel and Benny Benarroch to ask them a few very important questions:

What’s your family’s favorite tradition?
Singing “sha-sha-shavuah tov” with the kids at the end of Havdallah. We often facetime with Benny’s family in Montreal so all the cousins can sing together.

Why did you choose Netivot for your family?
We felt that the Netivot community was the best fit for our family. We want our kids to have a strong religious and secular education, and we wanted them to grow up with like minded friends. It also helped that both my sisters were already a part of the Netivot community and we had only heard great things.

What do you love about Netivot?
We really love the sense of community and that we feel like a Netivot family even though we only have one son in the school (for now). We also love the school performances, class chats, parents night and having an incredible welcome family that has checked in with us throughout the year.

Favourite family… dinner?
Benny’s shnitzel

We honestly look forward to the day when our kids can sit through a movie. So far they seem to enjoy the first 20 minutes of Lion King and Encanto (until they finish their popcorn).

Favourite Jewish holiday?
Purim (our boys LOVE to dress up)
